Watermelon Peperomia in Watermelon Pot
The Watermelon Peperomia is one of my favorite plants ever as it resembles (the rind) one of my favorite foods! The perfect summertime pair.
To care for a watermelon peperomia, provide bright, indirect light, water only when the top inch of soil is dry to avoid root rot, and maintain warm temperatures and average to high humidity. Use a well-draining soil mix in a pot with drainage holes and fertilize monthly during spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertilizer. This plant is pet-safe and propagates easily from leaf cutting. I notice they thrive the best with filtered water, not tap.
The exterior diameter of the plant opening is 4 inches and there is a drilled hole in the bottom for proper drainage. This plant is non toxic to humans or pets!
