Paddle Plant in Large Pear Pitcher

$62.00

Try saying that five times! This is such a staple of a plant to centerpiece in your home. Beautiful and bold!

The exterior diameter of the plant opening is 6 inches.

Fun fact: this species was one of the first plants to be sent into space, sent on a resupply to the Soviet Salyut 1 space station in 1979! It can also be called the Flapjack plant.

Flapjacks, also known as Kalanchoe luciae or Paddle Plant, thrive with bright, indirect light, well-draining soil, and infrequent watering, as they are succulents prone to root rot. To care for them indoors, provide bright sunlight (at least 6 hours daily) from a south-facing window or use a grow light. Use a cactus or succulent potting mix and water thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry, allowing the top inch or two to dry between waterings. I added a hole for drainage in the base!
