Paddle Plant in Karate Punch Pot
For paddle plant care, provide bright, indirect light (south-facing window ideal), use a well-draining cactus/succulent mix, water thoroughly but infrequently (let soil dry completely to prevent root rot), and maintain average room temperatures (65-80°F). Avoid overwatering, as this is the most common issue, and handle gently to preserve the powdery coating on the leaves: (Please note below!)
Paddle plant powder, also known as farina or epicuticular wax, is a naturally occurring, white powdery coating on succulents like Kalanchoe thyrsiflora (flapjacks) that protects them from sunburn, excess water loss, and pests, acting as a natural sunscreen and water repellent; it is normal and shouldn't be washed off unless you're certain it's powdery mildew, which looks different and can be treated.:)
The exterior diameter of the plant opening is 4 inches and drainage is added!
