Dragon fruit (Hylocereus spp.) are fast-growing, tropical climbing cacti. To keep them thriving and get them to fruit, mimic their natural jungle environment: provide a sturdy trellis, plant them in fast-draining soil, give them 6–8 hours of sunlight, and protect them from freezing temperatures.
