Curly 'Bonnie' Spider Plant in Blue Teddy Bear
The common name for the curly spider plant is the Bonnie Spider Plant or Curly Spider Plant. Its scientific name is Chlorophytum comosum 'Bonnie'. It is a smaller, compact cultivar of the traditional spider plant, distinguished by its distinctive swirly, and curly leaves.
To care for a curly spider plant, provide bright, indirect light and water when the top inch of soil is dry, allowing excess water to drain. Maintain temperatures between 50–80°F (10–27°C) and use well-draining soil to prevent root rot, which is a common issue. Use filtered water to avoid brown leaf tips from fluoride and chemicals, and fertilize every 4-6 weeks during the growing season with a diluted liquid fertilizer.
The exterior diameter of the plant opening is 3.5 inches and there is a drilled hole in the bottom for proper drainage. This plant is NON toxic to humans or pets.
