Angel Wing Begonia in Teal Butterfly Pot
This beautiful plant is a Begonia Maculata... otherwise known as a Polka Dot Begonia. It is also called an Angel Wing Begonia due to its unique leaf shape which resembles the wing of an angel.
To care for an indoor polka dot begonia, provide it with bright, indirect light and water thoroughly when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. Maintain high humidity with a pebble tray or humidifier and keep it in average to high room temperatures (65-75°F), away from cold drafts. Fertilize monthly during the growing season with an all-purpose fertilizer and prune to encourage a bushier plant, as needed! They are extremely rare plants and known for their striking patterns and air purifying qualities!
The exterior diameter of the plant opening is 4 inches. There is NOT a drilled hole for to the bottom but I used horticultural charcoal for added drainage. These plants are toxic to humans and pets.
